Hey, outsourcing made it into Doonesbury yesterday in Sunday’s comics (but I’m fairly sure it was a rerun, because the punchline sounds too familiar to me). First point: The next generation to join the workforce in the US is scared about outsourcing. Second point: Make outsourcing work for you.
I'm rather hoping the next gen will figure out that sourcing itself isn’t the bogeyman. But maybe that’s not going to happen until the word “outsourcing” becomes just another term in business vernacular — no less or more important to the strategy of getting work done than the concepts of “marketing” or “ accounting.”
