Affiliated Computer Services has a new president and CEO. Mark King, who has been with the company since its founding in 1988, most recently as president and COO, takes over the reins from departing CEO Jeff Rich. The latter, according to a press release, will be “leaving the company and vacating his position on the board to pursue other business ventures.”
The company doesn’t expect to change its strategic focus or operations. Lynn Blodgett, group president of ACS’ commercial operations, has assumed additional duties of corporate executive VP and COO. He has also been appointed to the board of directors.
