    The Washington Post profiled Prasad Tagat, a $10,000-a-year “ambassador” in Bangalore, whose job it is to attract technology companies to set up operations in Fairfax County, Virginia.


    Fairfax’s Point Man in India” explains that the county has set up five offices overseas to drum up business that’ll push economic development and job creation. The Bangalore office has already succeeded in drawing one Indian firm, though 15 others also have a presence in Fairfax County.
