US National Holidays for 2007

Sourcingmag.com has an international readership — people whose co-workers could easily be in other countries.Therefore, as a reader service, each year we provide a rundown on the calendar holidays celebrated by people in the United States, India, China and the Philippines. (We’d like to add Russia too, if anybody out there can supply us with a list of holidays on which businesses there are usually closed.)

This month, we provide the holidays to be celebrated in the United States in 2007. Mind you, not all of these days are celebrated by all companies; but these are typically the holidays on which government and financial services organizations are closed.
