Ukraine itself received a small review in the Outsourcing press recently: http://www.globalservicesmedia.com/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=199100580
The good news is the numbers for 2006, the size of the software exports market is now at $280 million (this figure includes both software licensing and services though). The article looked at only a couple of players in the market; namely EPAM and GlobalLogic, both relatively new players in the market that have acquired local Ukrainian outsourcing firms.
Also no mention of the fact that in 2006; IBM and Intel opened their own development centers in Ukraine, both after having worked for a great number of years already with their own development centers in Russia. Usually it is a good milestone for a country, when players of this level step in.
