"English speaking Indian IT professionals team up with Chinese IT geniuses in making worlds lass [sic] IT outsourcing hub" is an intriguing piece (albeit horribly written) about Indian and Chinese firms hooking up at a "Sino-Indian Software Industry Cooperation Summit."

According to reporter Harish Blaiga, the Indian companies — including Wipro, TCS and Satyam — were there to forge relationships with the regional government of Zhongguancun, which can provide incentives and tax breaks to set up operations in that area.

The Chinese participants "stressed that they were willing to cooperate with Indian software firms to attract more Japanese and South Korean clients for Indian companies since they had the local expertise, language advantage, proximity and cultural links."

Chinese firms are hoping to segue new partnerships to gain access to the US and EU markets.
