Often start-up companies ask what the minimum offshore team size is that they should start with. Our advice is to look at offshore options only when they can afford a team of 10 people at the offshore location. Team size smaller than that doesn’t justify the management overhead involved in managing the offshore center.
We also advise start-ups not to overestimate cost savings and to take all the overhead costs into account before they make a decision.
