    InfoWorld’s cover story this week, “Plotting Your Future,” shares some excellent strategies for protecting yourself in the continuing globalization of IT. As the article admits, “there’s no magic formula.” But there are ways you can hedge your risks, such as “seeking out complexity,” which means, getting engrossed in “large-scale integration projects, highly iterative development processes, and work that crosses multiple disciplines.” (That particular tip, by the way, includes this caveat: “Beware, however, of taking leadership of a project doomed to failure.”)
