eWeek’s outsourcing columnist Stan Gibson is blogging from India this week. In today’s communication, he says that in spite of wage inflation, the heads of the major service providers in Bangalore still see plenty of potential for their businesses.
However, he also writes that companies are preparing for the day when "they can’t count on labor arbitrage putting wind in their sails. The key, they believe, is to spend heavily on research and development now, while they have the profits to do so."
