Honest, I’m not writing this because the company is advertising on Sourcingmag.com. But I have to say, one of the most valuable email newsletters I get each week is produced by ValueNotes, which focuses on the outsourcing industry in India.
The latest issue profiled HOV Services, formerly named Codec Communications. Not only do we learn location and size details about this BPO in the ValueNotes newsletter, but we also get financial particulars from 2002 onward (along with a brief analysis), how its various business lines are performing, who its competitors are and what its chief challenges will be in the short-term. It also includes a short interview with one of the company principals.
The newsletter that arrived the week previous asked the question, will the medical transcription industry be threatened by voice recognition technology? The issue before that gave a quick analysis of the research and analytics area in banking and financial services.
