    • Has done strategy and implementation work for another Tier 1 consulting organization
    • Good interpersonal skills (written/oral communication, confidence, quick on feet, etc.)
    • Executive presence
    • Strong leadership ability and experience
    • Self motivator, takes initiative, looks for and has taken on growing responsibilities
    • Strong technical skills (architect for whole enterprise, application architect, integration architect or data architecture areas (see IT function list below)) but can relate to business issues.
    • Familiar with different development life cycles and project methodologies
    • Has done solution/service offering development (develop service offering, market, sell & deliver)
    • Works well in matrixed organization, Team player
    • Solid MS-Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project Workbench, etc.)

    Desired skills:

    • Ability to bring in clients immediately
    • Ability to bring in other people immediately
    • Published papers/presented at conferences b external presence
    • Worked with industry analysts
    • Consulting (and industry) experience
    • Work with third party alliances
    • Experience in application development, package evaluation/selection and custom implementations

      • IT Strategy
      • IT Diagnostics
      • IT Governance
      • IT Organization Design
      • IT Consolidation
      • IT Cost take-out
      • IT Project Portfolio Management
      • IT Sourcing and Outsourcing
      • IT Financial planning
      • IT functional knowledge (Try to identify Major/Minor areas when investigating this)
      • IT strategic planning (planning, blueprint development, IT architecture, initiative prioritization, roadmap development, etc.)
      • Application Management and Architecture (packages, industry applications, development methodologies, portfolio rationalization, etc.)
      • Information Management and Architecture (data governance, databases, data warehouse/mining, Extract/Translate/Load (ETL), etc.)
      • Enterprise Integration & Architecture (Enterprise architecture, business process management, systems integration, EAI, web services, messaging, etc.)
      • Technical Infrastructure (hardware, system/utility software, networking, telecommunications, operations, disaster recovery, etc.)
      • Business Process Management (BPM)
      • Merger and Acquisition IT focus
